We were not going traveling this summer, save up money for college and pay off bills. All good intentions meet with once in a life time opportunities. It just feels like we are always having once in a life time opportunities! But if we do travel would be nice to go to one place stay there and not do a lot of traveling around, nice and quite, relaxing, read books on the beach......
Haleys and my friend invited us to stay with them in France, Paris for a few days,Lesconil on the Brittany coast, sounds pretty inviting. Well, then Kirk decides he wants to come, make a business trip out of it, spend a day in Paris with us, fly to CERN for a week then head for Lesconil. Still sounds ok, but now let's make the airline work. Took longer to book the flights and coordinate them, then the time we will spend in France. And I only flipped one am / pm flight. But it still worked.
Now let's ad chartering a sailboat for a week in Benodet, beautiful 37 foot Benateau, and the islands calling us. Then do not forget,to go visit Haley's friend 4 hours away. Now you are verging on a wild and crazy time. And we still have 3 weeks of planning before we leave. Stay tuned, this is when you start breathing deep. It will all work out.
